Leaving Playa del Carmen around 7h30am
We will cross the peninsula of Yucatan to get around 10h30am in
the core of the Biosphere of Rio Lagartos from where we will
imbark ourselves to start our trip into the world of Quark in
between the pelicans and the falcons, the crocodiles and the
flamingos.
During the trip we will stop to observe some of the miracles of
nature that exist in this protected zone, like the salt lakes
with their original pink shades.
Thanks to the creation of two other natural parks on the West
side, the total protected area covers close to 200 kilometers of
shore line and our itinirary will be of about 25 kilometers.
We will arrive with the boats at the restaurant of nice typical
village for a delicious meal of fresh fish.
We will leave slowly to visit the ruins of Ek Balam, a jewel of
archeologic site hidden in the jungle that still shows stucco
carvings and original statues in perfect conditions.
On the way back, we will stop shortly in a small mayan village.
We will return at about 7:00pm.
