This unique condominium complex is
located in Playa del Carmen, the most popular beach town
on the Riviera Maya coast of Mexico.
Playa del Carmen has grown from a small Mayan fishing
village to an international vacation destination with
visitors from all over the world. Although this is still
a walking town with a casual and friendly atmosphere.
The Riviera Maya has much to offer with fishing trips,
diving, snorkeling or just relaxing on the white sand
beach gazing at the turquoise blue water… with a frosty
margarita of course!
The Royal Palms is situated in one of the newest areas
of Playa del Carmen in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
Playa’s famous fifth avenue pedestrian walkway is just
steps away with its cosmopolitan ambience and upscale
shops and restaurants. We are also only one and a half
blocks from Mamitas Beach Club, one of the most
beautiful beaches in Playa del Carmen.
You will find the condo rentals at The Royal Palms
simply elegant with a high standard of comfort and
convenience.
On the courtyard garden level, overlooking the pool and
tropical gardens, are five two-story mezzanine loft
rentals with five-meter (sixteen foot) ceilings. |

WEEKLY RATES |
Loft #4 is a luxurious and exciting
space. It is the largest of the one bedroom lofts in the
Royal Palms condominium complex. The condo features a 5
meter (16.8 feet) high ceiling.
A wonderful feature of this suite is the open air
secluded patio adjacent to the dining room, your own
little court yard. Off the patio is another full
bathroom for your convenience.
The access to the condo is from the courtyard garden and
fountain area. No matter where you sit in my condo,
whether it is upstairs in the mezzanine bedroom, or in
the open plan living room/dining room, the sound of the
fountains and the wonderful view of the courtyard
gardens and fountains relaxes and soothes.
The living room area features a large “L” shaped built
in sofa, which is sufficiently wide enough to double as
and extra sleeping accommodation for guest. We have
equipped our entertaining area with a 32" flat screen
TV, DVD and CD system with surround sound for your
enjoyment.
Up three steps and you enter the dining room and a state
of the art natural wood kitchen. The kitchen features a
large working marble countertop, stainless steel fridge
with ice cube making capacity to make those pina coladas
that much more available. I have a counter top range, a
large microwave and full size oven, as well as a
toaster, blender and coffee maker to make your stay feel
more like home.
The suite has been equipped with an in-line water
filtration system (ozone treatment). No more purchasing
of drinking water.
What a delight to have an in-suite washer dryer to
alleviate those trips to the Laundromat.
The central air conditioning is truly a blessing on
those hot and humid nights. During the day I can either
have the air conditioning on or open the front door and
patio door and have the fresh, clean breeze off the
Caribbean sweep through the apartment.
My private patio on the ground level courtyard is
enhanced with the presence of a wall fountain that I
share with the suite next door. Happy hour couldn’t be
more relaxing, surrounded by the sounds of the
fountains.
The staircase ascends to the mezzanine level where I
have a king size bed. The bedroom is dominated by the
light coming in from the two story clerestory windows. I
have installed my cablevision service upstairs in the
bedroom, which has English stations so we can watch TV
from bed.
In keeping with my Mexican theme, I have purchased
Talavera tiles and sinks for both bathrooms. The
en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom features a tiled
bathtub for two, a rare commodity in Mexico.
The moments I love the most are at night when the soft
ambient lights of the courtyard cause pleasant shadows
and ambiance. |
